The Importance of Laminated Labels, Not Just "Waterproof"

There are few companies out there that, like us, provide and customize premium soap dispensers with labels. Some say they have "waterproof" labels, which is fine--- if your bottles are holding just water. However, if the bottles are for soaps, shampoos, all-purpose cleaner, or sanitizer, your labels should be more than just "waterproof".

Since Artanis Home was founded in 2017, we've always laminated the labels for all of our products. Laminate is a clear plastic adhesive film placed atop the printed label to protect the ink underneath. Without it, the ink is exposed and left vulnerable to household chemicals, including those ingredients in your personal products. So a splash here or a drip there on your beautiful label could mean smudged ink, wasted money, inconvenient replacements, and going through the hassle of decanting your products into new bottles. To test, we purchased 3 bottles from a company that uses the same base bottles we do, but with their "waterproof" labels. When the label was left with a smudge of ordinary bathroom products on the label for a couple of days, the ink was compromised and damaged.

As a business owner who can be quite prone to anxiety, I couldn't bear to have our warehouse send out a product with this vulnerability. Seriously, I'd lie awake at night fearful that someone's face wash is going to wash away the ink on their bottles. I accept nothing less than a laminated label - and neither should you! And as a bonus, you will likely find our prices more reasonable than other soap dispenser companies that provide labels that are merely "waterproof".
